本書以塑膠袋擬人化的方式，敘述他如何冒險且被吹到了海洋，遇見很多海洋生物，但最後被一隻鯨魚吞下，那隻鯨魚因吞下太多塑膠袋，最後便過世了。
The book personifies plastic bags, narrating his adventures trip and eventually get blown into the ocean. Along the way, he encounter numerous marine creatures, but ultimately, he are swallowed by a whale. This whale, having ingested too many plastic bags, tragically passes away.
